How the simulator works

Each shift presents a sequence of visitor encounters. Every visitor has a description, a request, and several possible responses. You choose one response per visitor and receive immediate feedback explaining why the decision was appropriate, risky, or dangerous.

Your performance is tracked across three dimensions — Professionalism (clinical correctness), Karma (patient-centered empathy), and Complaints (avoidable harm or frustration). This mirrors the real balance a pharmacist strikes between clinical safety and human interaction.

Skills you train

Clinical reasoning: recognising dangerous drug interactions, contraindications and dosing errors before they reach the patient.

Communication: explaining medications clearly, calming anxious patients, and declining inappropriate requests professionally.

Ethics and law: respecting prescription-only rules, refusing dangerous self-medication, and protecting vulnerable patients without judgement.

How simulation differs from a quiz

A quiz asks one isolated question with a single correct answer. A simulation places that question inside a human situation: the patient's age, story, budget, fears and prior treatments all matter. You learn not just the right answer, but how to reach it under realistic pressure.

Because feedback follows every decision, you build calibrated judgement — knowing when to sell, when to refuse, when to refer, and when to escalate to a physician or emergency services.
